I was alone in the restaurant around 2:15 p.m. The staff was just sitting at the table themselves. But I didn't have to wait long. The starter in the form of a salad bar was delicious and the schnitzel, which was unfortunately deep-fried and therefore rather sloppy, with french fries and peas I would give a 3. In terms of price everything was within reasonable limits and the staff was also friendly.

The mood in the premises is very gloomy. The service is friendly and eager to work through the menu quickly (small company). The guest is brought up to order with a decisive tone. Special requests are not met. The liver plate was very clear (1 small disc). The crust roast had no crust, tasted extremely pork and the sauce like chemicals. The red cabbage was apparently burnt. The solyanka is out of the can. In addition, the food of 9 people was almost cold. Unfortunately, we could not understand the many very good reviews.

An excellently run family business with a really good traditional kitchen. The price-performance ratio is impressive. With her decades of experience, the landlady is an excellent host with a sparkling good mood. Hikers and families with children in particular feel particularly at home here. First of all: everything is excellent. We know the Moritzburg restaurant from the GDR times and later. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasure to eat there at the time. Now, however, we heard from several friends that everything was being rearranged: Kitchen with presentation and service. The third of us went to Moritzburg and tested it. All three dishes tasted very good and were very appetizing. My dessert of vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries and whipped cream was the best I've ever had. Very professionally whipped cream. The service was very friendly, attentive and courteous. The ambience is cozy. We highly recommend this restaurant and will go there often.
